Delay Compensation
In the unfortunate circumstance that your train journey is delayed, then you are entitled from a refund of all or part of your ticket price from the Train Operating Company you use.
MK Rail Users have set up this web page in order to bring the information you need to gain your entitlements into one place.
If you do claim a refund, MK Rail Users would like to hear about your experience, please contact us by e-mail
London Midland

If your journey with London Midland is delayed by 30 minutes or more, you can claim compensation under the government's ‘Delay Repay' scheme.
To obtain your refund you need to complete the London Midland Delay Repay form. Applications can now be made online but you will need to send a scanned copy of your ticket with your completed application form. If you cannot scan your ticket you can still apply by post. Both the online application or a form to complete and post can be found here.
If all goes well London Midland will send you the appropriate value of national rail travel vouchers (which can be used as part payment for travel on a jorney offered any train operator).
If your claim results in a payment of over £40, London Midland will send a cheque.
